Neal Ward

Neal was born and raised in Opelika, Alabama. He attended Opelika High School, where he was an active participant in the marching, symphonic, and jazz bands as a trombone player. He honed his debate skills in Opelika High's mock trial program, with his team placing third in the state his senior year. He graduated in 2008 as the first National Achievement Finalist to come from Opelika High School in seven years.

After graduating from Opelika High School, Neal attended The University of Alabama on a full scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Operations Management in December 2013. While at Alabama, Neal served as a member of The University of Alabama marching and student pep bands. He was also a member of the Society of Operations Management Students and was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Currently, Neal attends Washburn University School of Law. He is a chairman of the Pro Bono Society's annual Bar Revue comedy event. He also works as Diversity Chair for the Black Law Student Association and as a student member of the Honor Code Council. Upon graduating, Neal hopes to work in corporate law, likely focusing on intellectual property.
