Jorge De Hoyos

Jorge De Hoyos was raised in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and was a National Hispanic Scholar Honorable Mention. After finishing his undergraduate degree in Marketing at Wichita State University in 2010, Jorge went on to have a sales career before returning to graduate school.

In the early part of 2013, Jorge was accepted and enrolled at Washburn University School of Law. He has become fairly active with the law school as a student ambassador, Hispanic American Law Student Association President, Negotiations Competition Team Member, and Jessup International Moot Court Competitor. Jorge is in the top third of his class and is graduating in May 2016.

On top of his legal studies, Jorge also attended Washburn University School of Business where he studied and completed his Master’s in Business Administration in December 2015. As a dual-degree student, Jorge works to understand the legal ramifications of business decisions in different environments. Jorge has been a law clerk at Tenopir & Huerter since September 2014.
